????Wheego公司主要生产小型电动汽车，与普通轿车相比，它倒是更像高尔夫球车一些（说起Wheego国内读者可能不知道，它的国内近亲就是双环汽车旗下的“小贵族”——译注）。Wheego最近表示它还在“等消息”，必须要等美国国家公路交通安全管理局（NHTSA）宣布它可以免于安装电子稳定控制系统（ESC），它才能在美国销售更多的汽车。目前这款在中国贴牌生产的汽车在美国只卖出了三十多台，而且销售还比原计划晚了两年。Wheego的一位发言人称，它在加州的一个总装工厂已经加快了生产进程，不过在销售上还是要等NHTSA的豁免公告。“我们随时都在等着听到好消息！”她满怀希望地说。

????Wheego, which makes small EVs that more closely resemble golf carts than passenger cars, says it is in "a bit of a holding pattern" as it waits for a waiver from NHTSA from having to install electronic stability control before it can sell any more cars. Only about three dozen of the China-sourced autos have hit the streets thus far, and those came some two years behind schedule. A spokesperson says Wheego has geared up production at a plant in California where it performs final assembly, but it can't move ahead until it gets the waiver. "We expect to hear any day now!" she adds hopefully.
