2023 Ford Bronco Sport Overview

The smaller sibling of the much-anticipated Bronco, the Bronco Sport comes with a high fun quotient, Ford claiming the 4x4 SUV is engineered to handle whatever adventures its owners have in mind. Four trim levels are available, including the base model, plus Big Bend, Outer Banks and Badlands. More than 100 factory-backed standalone accessories are available, allowing a high degree of personal customization. There are no major changes for the 2022 model year.

Performance

The Badlands is powered by a 2.0L EcoBoost four-cylinder that produces 245 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque. Base, Big Bend and Outer Banks models feature a 1.5L EcoBoost three-cylinder putting out 181 hp and 190 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the Badlands adds SelectShift with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. A cooling system with additional transmission and rear-drive coolers keeps 2.0L models running strong over tough terrain.

Practicality

The Sport’s styling is directly linked to the Bronco, with design attributes such as an encapsulated cartridge grille, round headlamps, flat bodysides and short front and rear overhangs required for off-roading. Unpainted finishes cover exterior contact points.

Value

Ford has not released 2022 pricing. 2021 models range from $32,299 for the Base to $40,299 for the Badlands.

Will there be a 2023 Ford Bronco sport?

The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport is getting a new off-road-oriented package known as the Black Diamond package. Available for $1295, the package is available for Big Bend and Outer Banks trims, and it increases the Bronco Sports chops as an off-roader by adding steel bash plates for added underbody protection.

WHEN CAN 2023 Broncos be ordered?

Order banks for the 2023 Ford Bronco are open for existing 22MY order holders only at this time. The Ford Bronco team has not specified a date for new 23MY orders at this time, but we expect more information to become available later in Q4 of 2022. What Trim Levels Will Be Available for the 2023 Ford Bronco?

How much will a Ford Bronco cost in 2023?

Price: We expect the price of the 2023 Ford Bronco will start around $31,000 for the base 2-door model. The 4-door base Bronco is slightly more expensive at roughly $35,000.

What will be different with the 2023 Bronco?

Buyers can choose between a seven-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic. The Sasquatch package will also come standard, adding widened fenders, Bilstein long-travel suspension, locking differentials, and 35-inch Goodyear mud-terrain tires. Ford will also offer a trim called the Bronco Heritage Limited Edition.
