 Step 1.3: Use command “slmgr /ipk your_key” to install a license key.
your_key is the activation key you got above.

hit [Enter] key to execute commands. Run command slmgr ipkStep 1.4: Use command “slmgr /skms kms8.msguides.com” to connect to my KMS server.

After running this command, the activation
progress will be started. Run command slmgr atoIf you see the error 0xC004F074, it means that your internet connection is unstable or the server is busy. Please make sure your device is

Can we use Windows 8.1 without activation?
You need to activate Windows before you can personalise your PC.
What happen if Windows 8.1 is not activated?
After 30 days of running Windows without activating it, you'll notice a watermark appear at the bottom-right of the desktop. The watermark simply says “Activate Windows. Go to Settings to activate Windows”. This is a constant reminder that Windows needs activation.
What happens if I use Windows without activated?
The disadvantages of not activating Windows 10 include having limited access to some basic features and not being able to customize your display. Users of unactivated Windows 10 aren't eligible for crucial security updates, bug fixes, or patches. You also won't get to personalize your lock screen.
